Zakasa Travels – Terms & Conditions

1. Service Scope
Zakasa Travels provides taxi services for:
- Airport Pickup & Drop
- Hourly Rental (Local Use)
- Outstation Trips
Bookings can be made via WhatsApp, website, or phone call.
2. Booking & Confirmation
- Booking is considered valid only after receiving complete trip details:
- Pickup & drop location
- Date & time
- Final confirmation is provided once the booking is scheduled.
- Driver details will be shared before the trip start or as soon as available.
3. Cancellation Policy
A. Airport Pickup & Drop
- Cancellation more than 12 hours before trip → Free cancellation
- Cancellation within 12 to 4 hours → ₹200 charge
- Cancellation within 4 hours / No-show → Full fare charge (non-refundable)
Flight Cancellation / Diversion Policy
- In case the flight is cancelled or diverted, the booking will be automatically cancelled
- No cancellation charges will be applied, provided the same is informed to Zakasa Travels or verified via flight status
B. Hourly Rental (Local Use)
- Cancellation more than 4 hours before trip → Free cancellation
- Cancellation within 4 hours / No-show → ₹200 charge
C. Outstation Trip
- Cancellation more than 24 hours before trip → Free cancellation
- Cancellation within 24 to 12 hours → ₹200 charge
- Cancellation within 12 hours / No-show → 50% of total fare.
D. Important Notes
- Cancellation time is calculated based on the scheduled pickup time
- If the driver has already been dispatched, applicable charges may apply regardless of cancellation time
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 2–3 business days
4. How to Cancel
You can cancel your booking by:
- WhatsApp: +91 9407621986
- Sharing Booking ID or trip details
5. Refund Policy
- Eligible refunds will be processed within 2–3 business days
- Refund will be credited to the original payment method
- For cash bookings, refunds will be processed via UPI or bank transfer
6. Exceptions (No Refund Cases)
Refunds will not be applicable in the following situations:
- Incorrect pickup address or contact details provided by the customer
- Last-minute flight/train changes not informed in advance
- Refusal to travel due to vehicle preference not specified at booking time
- Driver has already been dispatched and reached or is en route
7. Service-Specific Terms
Airport Transfers
- Includes limited waiting time:
- Pickup: As per reasonable waiting after flight arrival
- Drop: 15 minutes free waiting
- Additional waiting charges may apply beyond free time
Hourly Rental (Local Use)
- Minimum billing: 2 hours / 20 km (whichever is higher)
- Extra usage:
- ₹ per km (distance)
- ₹ per hour (time)
Outstation Trips
- Minimum billing: 200 km per day
- Charges based on total usage or package agreed
- Driver allowance, toll, and parking are extra unless included
8. Delays & Liability
- Zakasa Travels strives for punctual service but is not responsible for delays due to:
- Traffic conditions
- Weather
- Road or external disruptions
- We are not liable for:
- Missed flights, trains, or appointments
9. Customer Responsibility
- Customer must:
- Be available at pickup location on time
- Provide accurate contact details
- Any damage to the vehicle will be chargeable
- Pets/animals are not allowed in the vehicle
10. Pricing & Charges
- Fare is based on distance, time, and service type
- Additional charges (if not included):
- Toll tax
- Parking
- State entry / permits
- GST applicable only if mentioned
11. Payment Terms
- Advance payment may be required for booking confirmation
- Remaining amount must be paid before or at trip completion
12. Changes to Terms
Zakasa Travels reserves the right to update these terms at any time based on operational or legal requirements. Updated terms will be reflected on official communication channels.
13. Acceptance
By confirming a booking, the customer agrees to all terms and conditions stated above.
